TEFpad is a tablature editor specifically designed for the iPad, offering a wide range of features found in the TablEdit desktop program. It is fully compatible with iPhone and iPod Touch devices.

Similar to TEFview for iOS, a complimentary file viewer, TEFpad allows users to open, view, print, and play all TablEdit files in .tef format. Furthermore, it supports the importing of various music file types such as ASCII tablatures, ABC files, MusicXML, MIDI, Guitar Pro, PowerTab, and more.

Additionally, TEFpad has the capability to open TabRite files and enables users to create new tablature arrangements from scratch. Files created within TEFpad on your device can be edited and saved without any restrictions.

It is important to note that while TEFpad allows editing of non-TEFpad files or imported files, only the initial 16 measures can be saved. Moreover, transferring content from these files to another .tef file is not supported unless you upgrade to TEFpad Pro via an In-App purchase to remove these limitations.

The .tef files saved using TEFpad can be accessed and modified in the TablEdit desktop program, providing advanced functionalities beyond what TEFpad offers.
